They “encouragingly” presented the plan to Peak Park in March 2020 – shortly before the first lockdown. She wrote in the community magazine Under The Edge last year that they spent their life savings on a driveway and a café so the concourse could remain open to the public. She did not respond to a request for comment about the planning battle, but asked for support from visitors and local residents. ![]()
